New cuttlebug and card for my Nan

I took delivery of my cuttlebug today!!!! woo hoo!! i was so excited ended up jumping around the room my hubby thought i was slightly mad :-)

So my first card with my cuttlebug is one for my nan. She's just had an operation as she has bowl cancer and yesterday found out that the chemo she needs is for 6 months (tablets) when she was only expecting a few weeks. So I've made her a card to say we love her and are thinking of her.

Here it is:

Yellow cardstock - papermill
Pattern- daisy pattern on cuttlebug!
Ribbon - from papermainia
With Love tag - freebie from Lets make Cards
Flowers - from 2 different sets I have, can't remember the name.

Easter Cards

I don't really 'do' easter or easter cards but thought my daughter would like to do some. Yep baby chicks, eggs and bunnies all a BIG hit. We went to a local farm last week and she was holding rabbits so she loved doing these cards even more!!

Grandad's Birthday Cards

Here are the cards I made for my Grandad. He's not really into any particular hobbies so I chose a golf theme from me and my hubby.

I can't seem to photograph them properly, so the top one is to show the colours and the bottom one shows the design.

These are the cards I made from the children. I used the Paddington Bear die cuts that I got free with Lets make Cards.

Mother's Day Cards (3)

This is the Mother's Day card that my daughter made for my mum. I put out some die cuts and she picks what she wants, I put foam pads on them and she puts them she she wants to. Definately original!

This is the Mother's Day card my daughter made for my Nan. We did the same as with my mum's card. She picks what she likes and puts them where she likes.

We also made a card for my Nanna which was pretty much the same as for my Nan but i forgot to photograph it.

Mother's Day Card (2)

This is my Mother's Day card for my Nan. I decided to just do something simple and pretty. Although my mum told me my nan didn't actually receive the card. I wasn't impressed, especially as my mum just said 'oh well'. Yep oh well it's not like i've spent any time making it, i know it's not really really complex but i'm still a novice. (I can see me ranting on here!)

This is my Mother's Day card for my Nanna. Hopefully she received it, but i've not heard either way.

Again I went against tradition and used the paper's that I liked. It's the Pepper and friends papers again. They are so sparkley!

Mother's Day Card (1)

This is my mother's day card to my mum. I decided to be different and not have 'happy mother's day' or 'mum' written on there. Don't think she was too happy but i liked it.

These are Pepper and friends papers, I absolutely love these papers.

Cuttlebug

Hubby has just said I can get a cuttlebug. I'm so excited, it is on offer so is reduced but still, expensive. I must be good and spend no more money on craft things. Am currently waiting for a forever friends pack to arrive from create and craft from their pick of the week. I don't normally buy it but I was weak!! I've also booked myself onto two work shops at a craft fair in April, in all fairness the entrance tickets and workshops has come to £16.25 and the free gifts at the workshops are supposed to be worth £25 so in theory i'm doing good. We'll see.
Number one son is up! not good, hopefully he'll go off to sleep soon but I think it's teeth so he might not go for ages and ages.
Hopefully i'll manage to get some photos put on here tomorrow.
Must go feed, cuddle and rock my boy :-)
Mummy

Hello

Hello
This is my first post on my first ever blog, so bare with me!! I'm a stay at home mum with two children and one husband and a cat. My children are a daughter who's 3 and a son who's six months.
I've started this blog as a record for the cards i make, but i warn you they are not impressive, but i'm hoping i can build a journey on this blog and hopefully will have some amazing (i'm so hopeful!) cards on there soon!
If you've read through that and it makes sense and you want to carry on then go for it. I tend to ramble, you've been warned!
